Dr Abubakar Abioye is a physician who is originally from Nigeria, however he has spent most of his life in the UK. He completed his medical degree at the University of Oxford Medical School. During his time at Oxford University, he was the recipient of multiple prizes and scholarships, and achieved a First Class degree in his Medical Science Master of Arts with a focus in Neuroscience. He obtained a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University as a Kennedy Scholar.


Clinically, Abu has focused on global health and global surgery. He has experience with humanitarian missions and clinical work on every continent (except Antarctica). He currently works as a physician in the UK and intends to pursue further training in ENT. 

Abu is passionate about medical education. He has worked as a tutor at several Oxford colleges as well as a tutor at University College London Medical School. He has formal training in medical education and loves to teach both on the wards and in the classroom.


Abu also loves to travel and has visited over 45 countries. He hopes to travel to Antarctica some day!
