Mr Ruchir Mashar

 MA BM BCh (Oxon) MRCSEd

Director of Studies

Mr Ruchir Mashar is currently a surgical resident pursuing training in general surgery. Originally born in India, he has had the pleasure of living in several different countries before finally settling and completing his secondary education in the UK. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Oxford, being awarded prizes for his performance along the way, alongside a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences as an intercalated degree.

Following this, Ruchir has completed his post-graduate examinations to begin specialty training within the UK (MRCSEd), having attended multiple conferences, and presented various bouts of work internationally.

Ruchir has always been passionate about tutoring, beginning with tutoring Biology as an undergraduate student, being a tutor at Oxford colleges during his internship, and finally organising and teaching national courses pertaining to applied anatomy and surgery prior to commencing residency. Wishing to take this further on a global scale is what drove him to join us.

Aside from this, Ruchir is passionate about cricket, badminton and can be a bit of a wizard in the kitchen, with a hope to open his own café after retirement!
